10 simple morning routines

Easy morning routines!

Early rising can be a daunting task for most people.

I know that getting up in the morning can be a struggle for many.

Some say “I’m not a morning person” is a common excuse for those who would rather hit the stinking snooze button and stay in bed a little longer.

But, the morning is an important time for setting the tone for the rest of the day.

A rushed, chaotic morning can often lead to a similarly hectic day.

Conversely, a calm and relaxing morning can put you in a good mood and set the stage for a productive day.

I can try to help you to find a way!

Routines help get you out of bed, put on your clothes, and feel like a productive member of society.

There is no other way to begin the day than feeling accomplished and ready to take on whatever life throws at you.

That is why I put together a few simple morning routines down below.

What is the key to a successful day?
Morning Routines!

The most successful people have created personal morning routines that keep their lives in sync and allow them to achieve everything they need to do each day.

And I want you to be one of those successful people!

10 simple morning routines to be productive

Morning routines: what are they?

Ritual/routine is a sequence of actions done regularly in the same order.

It can help you feel more grounded and in control, no matter what the day throws at you.

A schedule can set the tone for your day and, for some people, play an integral role in their ability to manage stress; by allowing you to control your schedule, rather than an unknown plan controlling you.

With a pattern, you set the pace in a manner that will help with stress and anxiety.

A habit of taking care of yourself can be formed by establishing a routine.

Not to mention it provides structures so you can look at the future and plan.

As a result, you can be less stressed and more productive.

It’s time to quit burning the candle at both ends if you want to take better care of your body and mindset a routine.

Do you have a daily morning routine?

Taking better care of your physical health shouldn’t be an afterthought.

It should be a daily practice.

Did you know that a few simple morning routines are a great way to get your day off on the right foot?

Are you wondering how adopting a few habits will benefit you and care for yourself?

But what do morning routines look like?

A typical morning routine should be between one hour and two hours to complete.

Everything will be determined by what you include on your morning list.

For your convenience, I’ve included a list of suggestions to help you get started planning your morning routine.

But, of course, whatever you choose will be entirely up to you.

10 Simple Morning Routines

  1. I challenge you NOT to pick up your phone;

The first thing in the morning; adopting a no phone morning routine it’s a pretty good habit.

It’s pretty relieving not to look at social media and have your head intoxicated with other people’s problems; less stress and more focus on how it’s supposed to be!!

  2. Instead of playing the snooze game of 5 more minutes, 5 more minutes.

Don’t rely on the snooze button; instead, set an alarm that will wake you up exactly when you want it to.

My teenage daughter once asked me:

“mom, why does your alarm go off every few minutes?”

“Can’t you choose a time to wake up and do it?”

and you know how terrible it sounded when I replied, “I’m lazy and tired.”

And that’s when I noticed she never slept through her alarm.

So as a result, I put the rule to use for myself.

    NO MORE SNOOZING!

  3. I always advise people to have a strong spiritual connection and remain positive.

Then jot out a list of appreciation for all the good things in their lives.

When you open your eyes and wake up in the morning, you should first say, “thank you for another day.”

Thank God for another day; thank your life for another day; thank yourself for another day.

  4. Keep a glass of room-temperature water (8 ounces) on your bedside as a wake-up drink.

Drinking water will assist you in flushing your body with all the toxins accumulated throughout the night, aid your digestive system, keep you hydrated, jump-start your metabolism, and keep your skin healthy.

  5. Train your mind

I usually advise people to train their minds by sitting quietly in their bedrooms, closing their eyes, and meditating for as little as one minute or as long as 20 minutes.

You have the option of how long you want to spend meditating.

  6. While exercising in the morning, listen to classical music in the background to enhance your mood.

    Endorphins will release during exercise.

You’ll feel better as a result since you’ll be less stressed, anxious, and depressed.

  7. Avoid skipping out on your face skincare routine since you're taking care of your body and your skin all at once.

Your dedication to a healthy lifestyle includes skincare routines.

The link may complement your morning routine if you haven’t read my “5 Steps on Daily Skin Care” post.

  8. Clean after yourself

Try to keep your bedroom tidy so that when you get home after a long day’s work, you’ll have a sense of relief at not having to worry about cleaning up after yourself.

  9. Breakfast

When I first hear the phrase “healthy breakfasts,” it is “don’t forget breakfast,” so don’t forget that.

A quick breakfast doesn’t have to be complicated; you can make a slushy out of anything nutritious if you plan beforehand.

  10. Repeat, repeat, repeat

Best one, repeat your routine, and stick with it.

Want to know the best way to establish an easy morning routine?

The night before your morning routine, do the following strategies to make sure you start the day in the right direction;

You will be ensuring a productive day by going to bed prepared.

A few tips on how to do that:

-First, prepare your meals for the next day

Get ready and prep your lunch and snacks for the day; this will help you stay on track with your diet, and it will save you money, time, and hassle in the morning, and you’ll be likely to make healthy choices if you have food prepped already.

-Second, set out your clothes for the next day

This will also eliminate the need to waste time choosing an outfit, and you’ll be less likely to show up to work or class in something you’ve already worn and late.

-Third, putting together a plan, which will be referred to as a list of morning routines

Take a pen and notebook and spend a few minutes considering what you need to do the following day.

You should jot down anything that comes to mind, no matter how trivial or insignificant it may seem.

Afterward, give each item on your list a number according to priorities.

-Fourth, keep track of your list

Mind you, that your list is neither permanent nor perfect. It’s there to help you get started and give you an idea of what to expect, but you’ll be able to tweak it as you go. Again, this will help define your morning goals.

Remember, when you have your list ready, make sure to take a few deep breaths and envision yourself finishing each item on your list.

Then, visualize yourself checking everything off your list as you go and experience the sensation of accomplishment that comes with crossing everything off your list.

-The fifth and final suggestion, stick with your easy morning routine

Place your list someplace you will be able to see it first things in the morning, such as on your nightstand or a bulletin board.

Having it in plain sight will help remind you of what you need to accomplish and help you get your day started.

Set your alarm clock for the morning; this will ensure that you wake up on time and don’t run late for work or class.

When you’re ready, shut your eyes and drift off to sleep, confident knowing that you have something planned for the next day.

Simple steps before bed may help you start your day off with a feeling of purpose and direction – while also making you feel less stressed, which can make all the difference in your ability to achieve your goals.

Check your list and make sure it isn't too far-fetched

As previously said, everything is a habit; when I was reading online and came across a blog post from James Clear, author of Atomic Habits, who claims that you need to put it in practice for at least 21 days in a row to form a habit.

There is no harm in trying.

Please note it and commit to a healthy morning routine for three weeks in a row to see whether it helps.

I really hope you enjoyed and find this post with purpose.

I got this idea for the blog article after successfully implementing the morning routine for ourselves and hoped it might be helpful for others, too!

Your input is greatly appreciated, so please don’t be shy about sharing more ideas.
